City authorities have fined a synagogue in Brooklyn, New York, বিয়ের 15,000 for arranging a wedding with thousands of guests.
The New York Post reports that the granddaughter of the synagogue's clergyman was married. Thousands of guests were invited to the event, most of whom did not wear masks and did not adhere to social distance.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio told a news conference at City Hall on the night of Nov. 23 that the wedding was scheduled for Nov. 8 at the Yetev Lev Temple. There were more than a thousand guests present without respecting social distance and without masks. There they were dancing and singing. The synagogue was fined হাজার 15,000 for violating the Corona Rules.
Bill de Blasio said that such behavior of the synagogue is not acceptable in any way. It is an act of their complete irresponsibility. The synagogue has a capacity of 7,000 people. And since more than a thousand guests were present, it is safe to say that there was no opportunity to abide by the Corona rules.
The second wave of coronavirus infections in the United States has become alarming. The United States was the most affected country in the world in terms of both infection and death in the first phase. After coming under some control, now in the second phase this rate has reached a terrible level. Corona infections are spreading at a rate of more than 4 percent in 40 zipcodes in New York City.
Wearing masks and strictly adhering to social norms are being instructed everywhere in New York. It has also been instructed not to have a house party with more than 10 people.
All New York City schools have been closed since November 19 because coronavirus infections have become dangerous. This holiday will continue till the Thanksgiving Day in the educational institutions of the city.
