The game based on the saga of epic fantasy novels written by Andrzej Sapkowski, has secured its spot as the most awarded game in history with a stuning total of 257 GotY, the record previously belonged to the game from Naughty Dog's The Last of Us with some undoubtedly incredible 249 confirmed game of the year awards.
The truth before there were not so many prizes, categories, magazines, to really have a candidate for the most awarded game in a fair way, so it nearly impossible for older games like classic to have held the record for any substantial length of time, and this year at E3 2018 there was really incredible games presented so, we'll see how long this title can last.
