Should we upvote our comments?

In your Author mindset section you say that there are some authors who want to make a quick profit and post shitty things. You also say that this doesn't really matter.

Don't get me wrong, I would like to believe that but I still find the main trending page to be full of junk. Much more than good content.
I specially despise these guys just posting and reposting the frickin' price of whatever coin. Literally, just saying the price.
It's hard to find real value and most time, when I find it, it is undervalued.

Then again, maybe that's just people.
People like junk.
And people who can make good posts turn to make junk because it pays.

I agree it is really hard to detect good contents i am not sure what kind of features could be added to steemit to help us customize our researd with active filters.

I guess the way is to carefully choose who you follow. And then see if you can use their criteria and reesteems.
But it takes time to scrounge the new articles and find authors worth a read.

really lord.
I've signed in to all apps, but I still do not get upvote.
I'm getting confused now sir.
