I just recently learned about the greatest service on Steemit to find out who your new followers are, who comments, who resteems and anything else you need to know about your blog. It is called GINAbot and was created by @neander-squirrel. If you don't know Gina, you need to head over to the link and get to know her now! There are step by step instructions here, so I'll just tell you about her greatness. (Special thanks to @ethandsmith for introducing her to The Unmentionables.)
I signed up for Gina's service last month and I have really appreciated getting on to Discord and seeing new messages from her. I know that pretty much every message is something good. I have a new follower and I know their name! I have a new comment and can read most of it from Gina! I have been resteemed and I know who did it! It makes figuring out what is going on with my followers that much easier!

I also love using Steem Now created by @penguinpablo for various reasons! It tells me exactly how much I make for each post, how much each comment gets and who is upvoting my posts. I keep this open on my computer whenever I am on Steemit. I love that it keeps a running tally at the bottom for my potential payouts. I can also easily find my reputation number and what my vote is worth on this page. It also tells me how long until my voting power is at 100%! Be sure to use this page!

Thank you for introducing us to Gina. I think that will be very helpful. I've been on Discord, found it a bit confusing but did sign in to the PALNet and they have some great folks there as well. I've only been able to join in with @globocop as DJ for Saturday tunes but plan on frequenting so the @unmentionables may be a great addition.
Unfortunately, tonight I am ordering another laptop, this one is about to cross over and I had to remove discord and a bunch of other programs just this morning to free up enough room to get back to Steemit. Isn't that the way it goes sometimes?
Resteeming so I know I have this saved AND it may encourage others to give it a go.
I use the SteemNow and love it as well as SteemStats by @jesta . Although they do give a lot of info I think GINA will do most anthing. YAY!!! Thanks again for the info.

Nice to know! Yes, Gina is really helpful and discord is kind of confusing. I went to it a few times before joining just because of the He-man graphics when you first click on it. I thought it was weird. ;) Now I moderate in The Unmentionables because I'm on so much. ;)

Steemnow is great, as is SteemStats and other amazing STEEM apps. For anyone who doesn't know what we are talking about, you can find these apps like this:
Ginabot is Realtime, and it gives the links to any event. It's lovely.

@globocop I love the video with all the music and typing it gives a feel as to what we crazy Steemians do with our time. The vid is FUNNY and helpful too with the pics of resources we do have available. I am not certain on what/who the @ unmentionables are at this point. It appears to be a help for writers/curators group from what I read at the post here made by @apanamamama

Trying to get me a usable laptop ordered, this one has been good to me but is old and taking its last breaths. Had to remove the discord program and a host of others just to be able to limp along. I'll find my "new life-line machine" today at some point, then 3 to 5 days shipping, another day to load it up and I'll be back. . . full Steem ahead!

Yes, that is the article I wrote about them. :) They are just a friendly group of people that I like to read their posts and chat with. In this group, you have to interact in order to be able to promote your post. You can't just dump it and run. You have to upvote and comment and two other members' posts in order to promote yours and I like that. I've gotten to read a lot of good stuff that way that I wouldn't otherwise. In the other groups, I dump my post and move on. No interaction.

I love SteemNow too!! I check it all the time. I have heard about Gina in one of my Discord groups but I haven’t got around to checking her out. My favorite tool is the steemit more info chrome extension. There's a vote tab added to steemit that shows incoming and outgoing votes. Like steemnow, but calculates vote values. It's made by @armandocat https://steemit.com/steemdev/@armandocat/steemit-more-info-1-5-chrome-extension-firefox-extension
I also like steem.supply which shows what rewards will come in for the week from comments and posts.

I don't use Chrome but sounds really helpful! That upvote slide thing doesn't work on whatever one I use either. It's Microsoft Edge. Must have some issues. Oh nice. I need to check steem.supply. I'm always wondering about comment rewards. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my gosh, @apanamamama! I have been using Ginabot for a few hours now, and I love it! Super helpful! I have always scrolled through my replies to see the comments, but I never know about call-outs and mentions. I've already had one of those come in tonight.
