Hey there...I am telling a short description about steemit.
steemit is a social earning website..once you creat your profile you should post many types of blog,news,memes,health tips,gaming news etc and you should be regular on it..

upvotes fully depends on other users reputation point if anyone has 25 or 26 reputation it doesn't gives you more sbd but if anyone reputation point has 45+ it will be works on your earning..
if anyone who has reputation point 45+ and give upvotes to you you will get 0.07 sbd in one vote.....so it will be fine
follow:
you should follow other members so that they will follow back to you
comments:
comments is another main thing on steemit...by commenting anyone posts you can get upvotes so its a earning source..
tagging:
when you post your blog you should give a tag on the tag blank
tag is depending on your posts that what the post is prefer
