    An excellent example of what not to do, leave a link to your post in someone else's post. If you want to promote your post go to steemit chat, leave your links on your other social media sites. Write for other publications and leave links there

      What is the Steemit ettiquete for sending a memo to a whale or someone with decent voting power with a url of your post that you think is good and you want them to check it out. Is it appropriate and if so how much SBD to send?
