Sheffield Steemit meetup 30/09/2017, amazing steemians amazing people and amazing talent

So for the past couple of weeks, I have been advertising a Sheffield meetup of fellow steemians around the South Yorkshire area and finally, that day has come.
Today will go down in history as 6 great minds from different cultures came together in Sheffield for the first ever Sheffield meetup.

This started off as an idea of mine not too long ago where I had seen on other peoples blogs that they lived in or around Sheffield, I was talking to my wife about how it would be great to meet the people behind so many interesting blogs so I put my idea into action with creating this night.

I want the Steemit community to know that these nights are a great idea, we had beer we had food and there was a great atmosphere.

We all talked among each other and got to know a little about the persons behind some great blogs.

@wrongjohn, check out his blog, this dude is on fire when it comes to poetry, there are some great rhyming episodes to go along with it too, where you the user gets to dictate the ending.

@tumutanzi This guy currently stands at number 1 in the UK for blogging on steemit. he has passion for the site and knows a lot about what makes the steemit universe tick over. I found it interesting what he had to say about the pros and cons of steemit.

@ai-max is a really down to earth person and I have only just got to start reading her blogs tonight, she has a lovely touch to her posts and I really wish her all the best on steemit. It was a pleasure to meet her and I hope that you can make our next steemit meet up, I would love to hear more about your life.

@fulcanelli an omg moment for me, we were expecting @johleen to be with us but due to illness we had the pleasure of @fulcanelli joining us, as he arrived he said I can't stay long I have a gig to get too. he pushed the time by leaving us about 20 minutes before he had to play, this means he would get out of his taxi and start strumming the guitar.

And thanks to the familys who turned up to our meet up, it was great to meet all of you and I hope in the near future that we can all get together again and have a few more laughs.

Now @fulcanelli was playing live tonight on stage and his plan was to wear his steemit t-shirt while playing, this is great news as the gig is been shown live on the internet all over the world, this to me should bring some traction to steemit. which i find ace and if @stephenkendal had not supplied the t-shirts this could not have been made possible, so a big thanks to @stephenkendal.

Our next steemit meetup in Sheffield will be around Christmas time, this is open to anyone to come and join in the fun. I will be posting more about this in the next few months, such as venue, date and time.
