Love is a Complicated Word with different meanings for different Persons. The word Love could mean one thing to me but at the same time, it could mean completely different to someone else. I have been in Love before and it was very Deep indeed. We broke up over 5 Years ago and truth be told that Lingering feeling of Love never goes away if you have Loved your other half wholeheartedly.
If someone says that he/she has forgotten their Love completely then I would say that they might not have been completely in Love. Even when two Loved one's breakup and move on with their Lives if they had a True Bond they can never Unlove their other self. Yes, the Love they feel might not be Romantic anymore but Love will still be there.
So, you simply means to hate him/her instead?
