I'm in the Netherlands. Have been using my Xapo Debit Card for about 2 years now, never had a problem. I just tried it out in a shop, got "refused". So, it's real! I've taken my bitcoin out of Xapo immediately. What the heck is going on?

There has been a problem with Visa and WaveCrest, not sure what's happened but they cancelled the cards straight away. If you have funds on your card you may have to apply for a refund. :)

whole bunch of cards and services used the gilbratar based company wavecrest for cards, visa shut them down for some reason, i just signed up with a canadian company called shakepay, they were effected as well ;(
