Steemit is pretty cool, but it's currently bottomed out. At least you can still have a future chance of seeing what you have now at less than 2 American dollars, multiply just by the values of Steem and SBD going back up. I had an old account I can't access anymore grow to close to $400 on just two articles before I lost access. It's now worth like close to, or under $100. My current account fell from around $120 to $40+. We are all hurting in Crypto right now. But, I agree, Steemit, is finding a way to stay afloat, somehow. I disappear due to personal reasons sometimes, but am always encouraged when I come back. Thanks, Colin Sydes for your human kindness!
