To change the profile picture, there are several methods. Some people use http://imgur.com/ to upload a photo to the cloud and then use the "Direct Link". Others use the "Copy image address" of Facebook. Today I'm going to tell you how to use the same Steemit platform to get our profile picture, these are the simple steps: (Forgive the images in Spanish)

1.- Go to your blog and click on "Settings"

2.- We must place a url address in "PROFILE PICTURE URL".

3.- We click on "Post"

4.- Then we place ourselves where the body of our publications is written, and we click on "Selecting them".

5.- We select from our library of images, the photo that we want to place in our profile.

6.- After uploading the photo to what is the body of the publication, we copy the url that is inside the parentheses

7.- We return to the configuration of our blog, and paste this URL in the box "PROFILE PICTURE URL"

8.- We give you "Update" and that's it.

Here at Steemit and other social networks, we look for the best photo we have to place it as a profile picture, where we expose the world the best physical facet we have. This even goes deeper in social networks, because we can publish and share things just to pretend something we are not. Perhaps some very timid or conservative people can publish daring things or vice versa.

This is common in other aspects of our lives, sometimes we want to pretend to be people that we really are not, but that is where our principles and values, or the lack of them, at some point come to light.

There is a biblical expression that says "From what abounds in the heart speaks the mouth" (if you want to read the biblical quote is this: Luke 6:45) And it is always true, no matter how hard we try to avoid it. It is there where a person with envy, selfishness or hatred in the heart always emits a comment where their bad feelings flourish. In the same way we see very cheerful, helpful, generous people, as we say in Venezuela "good people" they express themselves in a very correct way most of the time.

In the writings it is easier to put on masks, pretending to be any type of person with the aim of gaining followers, likes, upvotes, reesteem and above all money. I recently commented to a friend, referring to this topic "Posts we see, hearts we do not know".

The truth is that it is very likely that sooner or later they can not maintain the facade. And even more if there are close people who know them a little more, they also live on the same platform. It's hard to outwit people who know some of our secrets. And even more those who believe in God, who know that it is impossible to mock Him (if you want to read the biblical quote is this: Galatians 6: 7).

Personally I know that we all fail, and we have defects. And that at some point we can make mistakes. We can say or do something that is wrong. But the idea is that it is not repetitive and continuous behavior.
