New Gallery Builder Web Interface - Make a Gallery of Images From Your Old Posts
This Gallery Builder allows you to quickly generate the html and markdown code to produce a post containing images from your older Steemit posts. Please come try it out at http://wowak.com/gallery_builder.html
This is an enhancement to an utopian-io project I submitted earlier called Steemit-tools. I did not submit it formally to utopian-io because I feel it is only an enhancement to the existing python script which does the same thing.
I figured out how to use the steem-js library to pull back all of a users posts. This works better than python because I can provide a web user interface. The documentation is most helpful.
View my example gallery to see what it looks like.
Searches the posts of a user and strips out all images and then makes the html needed. This new html is pasted by you into a new Steemit post. You provide your username and the number of posts you want it to search.
Be aware that there is a limit to the length of a Steemit post so if you have lots of images it may not fit into a single Steemit post.

That is fine you can always use it again. I have so many pictures on my posts that it produces output that is larger than steemit will accept for a post.
I need to add a filter so you can skip over posts that I do not want in my gallery.
