STEEMIT 101: How to Change your PROFILE PIC / AVATAR here on Steemit. (And Add a Cover Photo Now Too) | Simple Instructions for Non Tech Types!

Hoping my regular Steemit 101 / Crypto 101 type posts continue to help all the new people coming daily.

It may not help YOU if you have been here weeks or months, but I always remember some people have been here hours, or days, and they need the resources like we did, when we were new.

Keeping my word to continue to share / re-share Steemit 101 type things because I had help when I was new, and we have new users daily who are lost like we were when we were new!

1/ Go to your main Steemit page. Click "Blog"/ Settings. ( ie -Beside your "Wallet" tab ) // Settings opens up to what you see below here in the graphic -- a box for you to PASTE your image url into. ("PROFILE PICTURE URL" box)

Then:

2/ Go find your picture / picture url online -- someplace like your Twitter page or your domain/web address page etc etc.

3/ RIGHT click on that

4/ "Copy Image Location" or similar will be in the drop down.

5/ PASTE that into your setting bar. (for both / either the PROFILE PICTURE URL or the COVER PICTURE URL)

6/ It may change and auto refresh, but if not--- Use the new UPDATE button there, it has changed there over the months...... REFRESH your page and it should be there.

Refresh your page and it should appear if any issues.
