Excellent post with a wealth of very useful information for a newbie like myself who is looking to get started with steemit. Can you talk a little about image hosting and the use of the steemit logo on your images? Thanks

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    Image hosting :

    I currently use imgbb.com because imgur seems to have some issues that don't let me bucket upload pictures. Imgur can deal with gifs quite well, so i usually host gif's there.

    As for the Steemit logo, I use it because I want to stress and watermark the article as exclusive to Steemit. You can of course do without it, it's not a huge contributing factor
