Steemit blocking tags

Just tried to submit a post with a tag Not Safe For Work or nsfw and it was completely blocked. Doesn't even show up on my blog page. I agree that some content should be hidden, but just blocking the tag is a hole other issue. A little warning or notice of this new feature would have been nice.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
