I'm new here and so far I like what I see, is there any censorship here like reddit?

I'm looking to migrate here from reddit as I can't deal with their outrageous censorship​ anymore. What I find at reddit is that upvote/downvote means nothing because agenda/narrative driven moderators delete 100,000's of posts they disagree with. Are the sections here on Steemit under similar moderation or is it 'anything goes' ? I've already seen some posts here that would have never survived reddit's wrath. Thanks for any views on this! :)

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
