There is hope for Steemit - if we play our cards right.

Lately I've been reading a lot about spammers, scammers, bots and exploits overrunning the Steemit community. This is sad and endangers the promising new project that Steemit stands for.
A lot of us here are struggling to get noticed, me included. On top of that, we now feel the effects of a deteriorating reward pool, plus the weak Steem exchange rate. That can easily lead to a overall feeling of frustration - it does for me, at least.

The more important it is, to come across something promising, that is able to lift the spirit during this trying times.
And that just happened to me: I found that the well known (I guess that can be said) TV hosts Max Keiser and his wife Stacy Herbert have joined Steemit, as @keiserreport . And yes, they are the real people, not just someone posting their videos.

Look at this video and watch Stacy telling about their Steemit membership, right at the beginning of the show on RT:

Wow, we need more of that! People who watch Keiser Report, who are not brain washed by the MSM.
And a occassional mentioning of Steemit on a internationally broadcasted TV show... :)

Sort Order:

It will only succeed if people keep posting quality content. I used to write bubblews which was a bit similar but the revenue was advertisment based compared to crypto currency. Once people start to take advantage (fake accounts, bots blog post only containing 3 lines or a picture or video) then a platform like this is hard to keep alive.
