New Steemit looks Pretty

Well it's been a long time coming, probably like two years or something that we've been hearing about the community feature and now it's finally been released in this new version of Steemit.

The news and rumours spreading about Sun's agenda hasn't detered the Steemit team from forging ahead in their plans to improve the user experience on the platform and that was the key reason for implementing most of these new features.

Other than the addition of Communities, Steemit also included features like;

Notifications

That's pretty explanatory. We don't have to depend on ginabot anymore. This will effectively make the community more interactive and open.

Last Seen

Okay this feature will come in handy when you want to stalk keep up with some.ofnyour favourite authors, content creators and maybe girlfriend. I'm guessing this feature only shows your last seen on Steemit and will not reflect your activity on the other front ends.

More organised

Finally, the platform looks a lot more organised and easier to navigate. Comments, replies, blogs and communities have separate tabs that facilitate easy access to various features. The organisation also means that users only see what they want to see and with communities, you can also specify your target audience and improve engagement and activity.

It's still early days in @justinsunsteemit's time at Steemit but this is a really nice development. The jury is still out but judging by this move that has been in the works for two years now, I think we've made enough progress to be bullish about the near future at least.
