When you are browsing your post feed for Steemit, what type of content are you looking for? I write a lot about crypto, because I'm involved with it and its development and it fascinates me to no end, but I also write a lot about other things. I've gotten a lot of great responses and, it appears, more views, when writing about crypto. It makes sense that there is a large community on here regarding that, as most of us were drawn here because we are involved in crypto, in my case involved for the development and trading of it. Many are drawn to it specifically as a consumer, for investment purposes and for engaging in the utility that it has in many scenarios. I'm a crypto-developer and consumer and fully interested/invested in all things crypto. I believe in the movement.
Others are on here because of the power, wonder, and beauty of Steemit, wanting to pay and get paid for engaging in social media. There are many niches on this site and a lot of them have grown because of people coming here to grow the community and to find success as a blogger/social media contributor. I love to write about other content even though my main passion is web and software development and cryptocurrency. I'm a huge NBA/Basketball Fan, I love movies/tvs/anime/books, and I am a Meme Connoisseur of the highest order. haha
Just write about what you enjoy, keep improving and people will like it :)

Just watch any of my videos and you’ll see the difference..lol😂In my opinion I feel a Motivational Speaker stands in from of a group, with similar interests in mind, and reads from a very well planned, written, and thought out speech😀My Life Coaching is more of a in your face, harsh truth telling, foul-mouthed one on one attention😉But we still want the same end result...to awaken, teach, motivate, and help guide those in need😊👋🏼

I'm also mostly looking for crypto related topics, but I'm happy to read about other topics as well. I think the most important part is to have own/original content. I hate to see single image/link/video posts, or news article blindly copied from other sites.

I love reading about life stories! Not necessarily travel because everybody does that now...I love reading about a personal memory of someone, or a day in their life, a certain situation it made him/her realize something because maybe I too will understand something from his/her experience.
Before I follow someone, I read their feed ( things they resteemed, things they wrote ) and if it clicks with me, I am going to follow!

I follow you already, and I upvoted this post. I am really, really new to STEEMIT and the whole crypto system. I see there are a lot of new people joining. Most articles I see assume the reader already knows and understands certain terms and concepts. I search for content that explains crypto in simple terms that I can understand. Learning how to get involved in the different crypto currencies as a total beginner is the main thing that interests me. Thanks for asking.
