Can anyone explain what is happening @steemit today and why it is happeneing?

When i load a blog then many MANY post pop by on my screen.
It takes AGES to load, and it consumes A SHITLOAD of bandwidth
Me being on a limited bandwidth, steemit not only DESTROYS my connectivity it also WASTES the bandwidth that i had left FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH.

and THAT SUCKS

Can this be prevented?

if yes how?

and HOW SOON can this be solved as it appears to have WASTED bandwidth in previous months as well.

I see post older then a year pop by

I mean WHY ON EARTH is steemit wasting so much bandwidth?

I'm sure it is not intended, but i do hope that someone is looking into this and find ways to prevent it from happening again.

Multiple questions come to mind....mobile? Browser? Using an app(Patriko)? We need more detail as steemit is mostly text and one picture per post on the main page.

i was using busy, now i closed all busy stuff and have steempeak open things are normal for now
Yet on the low bandwith connection i need to use busy as steempeak itself uses soo much bandwidth that it times out on the low bandwidth connection.
Yes bandwidth really is an issue for me sometimes, and in this case a real killer.
Specially when logging in to these kinds of platforms. I'm trying to sign up on several new ones. but it seems the killing of the bandwidth is even an obstacle to that I simply don't have enough speed to sign-up on a platform when i'm not at home. And when i am finally at home then i'm to tired. :-)

(i never have used Partiko BTW)

Thanks for looking into this @flexcougar!

BTW i'm now at home on a fiber connection.
And to me it seems that busy now was finally able to download en-mass what could not be downloaded yesterday when i was on the low bandwidth connection
And that would explain why I couldn't really get anything done yesterday. Busy seems to have clogged all my bandwidth and actually has killed it for the rest of the month (so not much internet joy is left for me in 2018)

unless I stay at home. :-) hmmm

Using a laptop, Firefox, at home i have fiber, on the move i have limited mobile connectivity, and when that runs out i can sometimes use scary wifi hotspots with about 32k of speed at best. Really primitive, but thats all that's available to me. I'm far from being a whale :D
