What's wrong with Steemit value measured in Dollars

in steemit •  7 years ago

I'm asking myself why steemit is valued in (fake) dollars?

From my point of view it would make more sense to value it to something real. Gold, silver, even aluminuim. My steemit is worth less then a recycled soda can at this point in time.

But to me that is MORE value then a fake dollar.

The internet is a global thing, not a 'Dollarian illusion'

It would be nice to have a non dollar related value.

A value in clean drinking water would really be worth something.

Looking forward to comments on this brainfart

Yes I agree, the dollar may not even exist in the coming years now that BRICS is expanding and with all the global turmoil that there is at present.

Hey Reg,

It's just that, but the whole dollar is a kind of artificial value itself already. Once they figured out how much billions have disappeared with Clinton and co. then it might be the end of the dollar alltogether...
