Do you feel the posts musing.io creates on your Steemit feed is spammy?

Yes. I think this is a major design flaw for musing.io. I Like the idea of this platform, but it's unfortunate that they're using top-level posts for answers. I suppose the reason they do this is so that they can use the ordinary Hot/Trending stuff from the Steem backend, but it makes it difficult to use both musing.io and steemit.com with the same account.

I actually created a second account for use with SteemConnect apps (my main account is @biophil) so that I wouldn't give a million apps posting permissions for my main account. A nice side benefit to this is that now I don't have to worry about spamming my main account's followers' feeds (and probably losing followers as a result) with my musing answers.

Maybe we need the steemit.com UI to allow users access to create new accounts (and delegate/pay for their creation), and promote that people setup and use multiple identities for their steem related activities.

Yeah! It would also be nice to have some official-ish way to verify that the accounts are linked, to get out in front of the phishers.

A large change in our codebase is underway to address this, which should release soon!

Yes definitely
