Steemit is so much easier to sell than bitcoin. Bye bye Facebook. Bye bye Reddit. Hello censorship resistance!!

Steemit appears to be the Reddit Killer. I think that censor zone is about to take a hot because of Steemit. "If you post good stuff then you will get paid" is a great way to explain this site and thus get people into cryptos. Clearly a much easier explanation than what one have to use to describe Bitcoin. Steemit is the gateway and I predict many will end up at Bitcoin because of it. Free speech will eventually end up being tested here once a poster really takes it to the next level. It will be interesting to see what the limits are. Anyway nice post and podcast here is my latest: https://steemit.com/steemit/@bitcoinmeister/video-from-january-where-i-recommend-that-twitter-incorporate-a-cryptocurrency-system-into-their-platform-and-where-i-describe

Thanks Meister! I know you from youtube :)

I would love to hear more about steemit. How much control do moderators have over content? How does Steem work compared to bitcoin? That sort of stuff.

I was pretty sure you were that woodcock. I know that content can be erased from this site, BUT supposedly it is always on the blockchain so another site could allow it to be viewed at that point. There are so many questions out there about Steemit, they really need a FAQ.

Hey Adam, quick question. I have 6 confirmations on my bitcoin transaction to get steem through this website. How long does it take to show up in my steem wallet? It's only $11 worth, but I hope I didn't mess something up.

Edit: Lol, it showed up right after I typed this...

Problem solved!

Cool. Why did you want Steem? I assume you want to power up or just speculate on the currency? Whatever Steem power I have I get from posting/liking. I use Steem dollars on buying Bitcoin. People here might think that is conservative or even lame, I think it is a sound financial crypto strategy. By the way this blog article of yours made my top Steemit links of the day today: https://steemit.com/steemit/@bitcoinmeister/my-daily-list-of-must-view-steemit-quality-original-content-7-14-2016
