If steemit was Batman and facebook was Superman who do you think would win with regards to social interaction, content quality, technology ect.. and possibly become the future of social interaction after a VS battle? Let's keep in mind they both super hero's and Superman is always the strongest with only one weakness , However I cant help but think steemit is going to give facebook a run for it's money in the near future. Well let me tell you we can at least defend ourselves because we have steemitite..
Hello all, today I am going to blend social, block tech and super hero's to recapture the batman vs superman scenario in a sense. I would like to take a moment to express the fact that writing is still very new to me. I am in no way a expert on Social media or comic super hero's, I have simply become passionate about writing on steemit and want to have fun doing it. My goal with this post is to hopefully start a fun debate or topic on the subject open for discussion.
Social Superman Facebook
When i think of facebook I automatically think superman. Like superman, facebook is indestructible from a social point of view , facebook has a infinite reach and fly's around the world with ease gaining strength from the glow of social interaction that's perpetually nourishing facebook and giving it infinite strength. Everybody likes Social Superman Facebook " pun intended " He is the good guy, His services are free and he is always there for you when you need him. facebook like Superman is a indestructible hero that everyone loves and has come to depend on. However despite all our super hero facebook's strength, he now has to face a very real weakness....... steemitite the social equivalent of cryptonite!
Block-Tech Batman
When I think of steemit I think of The Batman. Like Batman steemit has no super powers really he is down to earth and knows he is just a man. The Batman comes from hardship, he has had to learn to use his brains and work with whats around him. The block-chain Batman has gut's to stand up for what he believes in with a take no nonsense attitude to get it done. he uses his billions in wealth to do what he does best! Not to mention some very cool tech and a tool belt full of growing open source developers, gadget's, innovation and the ability to build really kick ass stuff. The Batman has Billionaire Bruce Wayne, steemit has Steem power and Clark reports the news, Uhm good on you buddy.
So if steemit and facebook were to go head to head in a vs social battle who would win?
Facebook is undoubtedly indestructible simply because it was the first social platform ever created and since its launch gathered a infinite amount of support and funding. However although facebook is the Social Superman of its time, it has in my opinion it's limitations. Facebook adapts and grows as it needs to simply because it still paves the way for social media. It has no way of easily evolving and continues to simply grow because it has been based on that assumption of growth from the begging. In other words facebook is what it is, no more or no less. It is the outcome of its own design and a lot of market research and feedback. Restricted by a corporate approach and over confidence. Facebook does not reward its users for posting content, its reward is a social user experience only. facebook is dependent on a social driving force that has become the building blocks of its community. Facebook stands incredibly strong only offering a free social experience that is considered the norm.
Steemit in my opinion has all the requirements to super succeed facebook, when facebook launched they were innovative, with new idea's and concepts. Back then facebook offered a great new world experience everyone jumped on. Steemit at the moment is basically still only a foundation and our ability to grow, learn adapt is as vast as the open source community that drives it! Thousands of brilliant people all over the world now support and power block tech and not because they feel the need to they want to BOOOM! steemit is a open source social experience that blows facebook out of the water in my opinion! And look at how we are growing!
facebook is a multi-billion dollar corporation that pockets millions of dollars of revenue almost every single day. In Turn Steemit is a free open source project that rewards its community for sharing great content and building on innovation. Steemit is anonymous and encourages good content while facebook has become a spam mine field and predatory playground!
You be the judge who do you think will survive in the future? Please Up-vote for Block-Chain Batman or don't for Social Superman, you decide!
I hope you have enjoyed my post, Please post your comments and up-votes to help keep this steemit alive. Thanks for reading and your support, I am looking forward to any constructive criticism, your comments and feedback. I hope this post serves as a good starting point for some fun around here in future.
