Just today, almost a year after my first Steemit day, while watching some videos about the current platform crisis, I discovered the existence (or the once - upon - a - time existence) of a place called dmania ... where, if I understand correctly, the memes where in the main focus. That sounded great to me, for I like short forms of expression (I like the long ones too) ... but soon after I came upon some posts saying that dmania is no more, that once existed and then shutted down because was ignored by the community or something like that. I tried to find the place to sign in ... but couldn't find it ...so I think that the answer to my question is kind of obvious ... but still ... I hope, that maybe, you know - somehow ... so ... IS DMANIA A REALITY OR JUST SOME OLD MYTH I STUMBLED UPON ACCIDENTALLY?
As always in these posts on Steemit, the artwork in this GIF - meme hybrid is my work ... if dmania exists I would create memes with my own photographs and artwork ... with 13 cats around this could be a dream job :D

Maybe something good for meme will reappear ... I saw later the Original meme community … there are many extinct Steem things that I'm discovering along the way, this gives me a strange crypto - paleontological feeling
