How many upvotes are given each day?
This is predicated entirely on how much voting power each bot has. VP is first used to keep comments visible when required.
@botreporter directs the vast majority of its daily voting power each day to random upvotes.
What filters are used to select voters?
@Transparencybot selects post that have used the #nobidbot tag, have not used bots on the post and are at least 24 hours old. It then applies a random generated number based on the time in seconds the post was created. No reputation or other filtering is applied except NSFW post are excluded due to logistical concerns only. There is no restriction as to the number of times a single author can be selected.
@Botreporter selects posts that have not used bots on the post and are at least 24 hours old AND the author has not used bidbots in the last 30 days. To narrow the field more, it then selects only authors who have sufficient funds in their account to have purchased bidbots if they desired to do so. Very short posts with links to dDube, dLive, Memes, etc. are excluded.
Finally it applies a random generated number and selects 5 authors per occurrence. No one author can be chosen more than once per 30 days.
As the SP of each bot increases, so will the vote values cast by each bot. At this time, @transparencybot's upvote is worth about $.38-.40 STU.
I very much hope these token upvotes do at least provide a thumbs up to all of the authors who have chosen to use our platform responsibly.
