Being new to Steemit and still finding my footing within the platform, this was a great article to read. Even though the information is "basic" it is often overlooked, which I'm guilty of myself. My initial expectations in terms of visibility far outweighed reality.

What I have learned in the short time using Steemit is it is unlike other social media platforms and requires work (well written, informative articles/content) for posts to succeed rather then random "pull my finger" posts found on other sites.
