I thought Steem can replace most internet media website. Because:

Steem target group is grown like fireworks.
Anybody would like to earn some free money and start to try write articles and try self.
Somebody interesting cryptocurrency and found Steem like a phenomenon!
Traders are surprised of high exchange rate of STEEM and witness road to the moon.
More and more developers implement new features and benefits.
Search engines love Steem for meta tags and unique posts.

I see there are two fundamental ways that the search engines use links:

To discover new web pages
To help determine how well a page should rank in their results

Once search engines have crawled pages on the Steem, they can extract the content of those pages and add it to their indexes. In this way, they can decide if they feel a page is of sufficient quality to be ranked well for relevant keywords. Generally speaking, if Steem have a lot of links to your or corporate web site, the more likely you are to rank well in search results!

It should be so effective because it based upon the idea that a link could be seen as a vote of confidence about a page.
