I Just Added Over $3,000 to My Steemit Account

So You're Not Leaving Steemit, Brandon?

No. Now I know that there was a little bit of a speed bump yesterday and many of us were upset (included myself). But that's over and It's time to move on. Let's continue doing what we do best which is to produce great content and help one another in our pursuit of success here on Steemit and beyond. We've got an incredible platform here that can help elevate many lives around the world.

So.. just in case you guys thought I was going somewhere... I'm here to stay. In fact, today alone I've added over $3,000 to my Steemit account! And I plan to continue adding to it in the weeks to come.

My normal videos will resume on Monday. Until then, I hope you guys have an awesome weekend. Oh.. and yesterday's winners for the comment rewards have been chosen and you can see who won by visiting each of the posts from yesterday. And yes, I will be choosing a winner from this post as well. I will announce the winner on Monday!

Awesome news @brandonfrye! I'm excited to hear you'll be sticking around. The $3,000 you added, I assume, was from rewards on your posts -- you've reinvested those into Steemit? I am trying to get a grasp on what the content creators I admire are doing here on Steemit so I can take a similar approach when I reach 7 days and start adding my own rewards.

Really appreciate the transparency you display toward the platform. Thank you for what you do!

<3 Lexi

Hey @prettydecent, thanks. And no that was money that came from my crypto investments. I have a lot more I'm looking to add in the upcoming weeks. But I do also reinvest my earnings. It's really best to reinvest all you can into your Steem Power. That's what gives you the most "power" here on the platform. And if you're investing in your Steem Power that's good for everyone here. Anyways, thanks for your comments and I will always keep it "real" and "transparent" with you all. :)

Awesome, thank you for the reply! I'll definitely be reinvesting into Steem Power for as long as possible.

Yeah... I notice so also, steem power is the real power here on steemit

That’s very true

Great news @brandonfrye! Glad to hear you're staying, your videos and posts have been very informative and helpful in my first few weeks here. Let's keep growing together!

Thanks for the support @dirkboy41. Means a lot! We’ll continue to grow strong for sure.

That's a lot. I'm sure it will pay off in the long run. BTW great video/follow me... hahaha joking ;)

Lol, I wouldn't doubt if I get a comment just like that on my non-video post.

Glad to see you're not leaving. I posted about this issue myself. I love your content!

Thanks @jrmiller87. I saw your post earlier and appreciated that. Unfortunately my vote power is zonked after yesterday. But I’ll share some love to your channel for sure. Thank you for that.

I wish I had some extra funds to invest!!! I've got a bit of Ripple and I'm thinking of converting it into Steem.

Not sure if I would do that with Ripple or not. But I just did that with some Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum.

So glad that you made the decision to stay. Although, it would be nice if I also have $3000 to invest on STEEM but my funds are a bit limited at the moment 😪😀. I hope you are having an amazing day @brandonfrye. You have my upvote for today 👍👍

Great to hear that @brandonfrye ! I'm sure you'll get much more than what you've lost. Btw I'm not getting any views in my posts. My last post got only about 4 views. Is it because I'm new and don't have much followers?

Good news on a Friday afternoon. Glad you are hanging around.

I'm in. It's good to know there are people like you out front of me to show me the way.

This is definitely good news for Steemit community! One person believing in the platform's potential.

Great to hear! Your videos are always helpful.

I thought i was the only one who experienced the speed bump because my network really sucks sometimes, its really being an honour meeting a steemian like you @brandonfrye

I am about one week old into steemit, i must say your informative post and cryptocurrency talks, really made your blog my second home

I am happy to know you're not going, i too,i ain't going no where, i just starting steeming and i already see the unlimited prospects here, its being four days now and i haven't logged on to facebook
One of the things keeping me here, is the fact that someone like @brandonfrye will always make my day bright and informative
👏💗✌

Hi Brandon! I'm really glad to see that you're doing okay after what was going on yesterday. I read through those posts and the comments, and I didn't even know what to say, it was incredibly frustrating to see that this kind of thing is going on here. I am new, been on Steemit just a few days so far. I have really been enjoying learning all about Steem and how to become a part of the community, contribute valuable content, Etc. Yesterday I did not know that voting bots even exist until I came across your post and a couple of others about the topic. And, I have spent a bit of time today reading all about these whale wars that have been mentioned between a handful of people... It kind of hurts my heart and made me feel just a little bit disillusioned, sigh. BUT, not enough to really scare me away either... I'm going to stick around, too, stick it out, and do what I can to make the community better. Maybe someday I will get to where you are. I know it will take me time, I don't actually have the ability to invest any money from outside Steemit right now, so I am building from the ground up, lol, but I'm cool with that and having a lot of fun already. I have visions of building my own Linux Ubuntu server and becoming a witness. I'll get there eventually, I'm currently educating myself and sourcing... Anyway, thank you for making such awesome videos and posts, I've already learned a lot from you! Take care, see you around. :)

I came to your post from steemfollower today because I was interested in your headline. I cannot afford to buy in, and I take about half the sbd out for my living expenses with are not too much. I think I am "mining" for sp with my blog posts and this is how I invest. I'm all about the sp :)

@Brandonfrye, Excellent!
Very encouraging!
So one real quick question?
I have not been able to buy crypto or steem when I tried to sign up for coinbase.
They said they have some technical issue. Where do you recommend to by a currency or by steem dollars direct besides coinbase that is safe and cost effective? I want more steem power
So glad to know your steeming on.
L

your video helped me out so much I wanted to say thank you. I also talked about your video in my newest video I did today. I have been here for 3 weeks and love this platform. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!

Now this is a great news mate, I am glad you are still hold on to this.
Just because they have more power or money doesn't mean they can do whatever they wants. Whales doesn't live without minnows.
Keep making great content!

Very true. And thanks.

I just came for the first time across your post. How are you adding 3000 to your account? all with earnings here on Steemit? That is really impressive. I will have to watch one of your videos to see what information you share.

You probably do know that, but if steemit has a hickup, you can usually post just fine from busy.org. You need your active key to sign in to busy. Everything you post there will show up on your steemit blog as well. I found it when a few month back steemit was under attack for over a week and posts kept disappearing. An added bonus is that if you tag a post with busy, you will get an upvote - once a day.
Another platform is chainbb. I am not that familiar with it yet, but there is a forum option.
Finally, may I share a link to your profile with the freewriters in my daily prompt? The chance of an upvote is a nice gift to all of us who still dream of even having a total of 3000 in our wallets. :)

Great to hear Brandon, can't wait to see some more great quality posts starting Monday!

Thanks @lukebrn, let’s keep growing! :)

I'm glad that you have decided to stick around! I just found your channel yesterday, and from scanning your post titles, it looks like you have a lot of information that I am just getting interested in; especially when it comes to streamlining my time here on Steemit.

Thanks @sustainablyyours (love that name), I try not to disappoint. Hope we can continue growing together!

Happy to know you are staying I thought we where going to see video. But this is great news.

Lol no but I’ll go through these comments Monday morning. Thanks man for your support.

Good to hear. I think Steemit needs alternatives, to end all the drama. Something like Utopian-io but for other types of content. So that people don't have to use bots necessarily. All a matter of further organization. The market is the only system whose institutions are endofunctional: they can operate on themselves. Problems exist to be solved.

True. I’ve already learned from this post that I don’t need to use upvote bots. And I’ve been teaching all along that people shouldn’t rely on bots. What would be cool is an account that rewards people for creating great content and not using bots. These are the kind of things I’m interested in creating here on Steemit.

That sounds like a good idea! Maybe that should be a budget proposal?

Glad to hear it! I added to my Steem holding yesterday when it felt like bottom.

As to your situation. I commented on https://steemit.com/steemit/@jrmiller87/decentralization-accountability-and-the-use-of-steem-bots

Keep up the great work!

Hey Brandon, great to have you back. I was worried that you would leave. Would have been a loss for Steemit. Now, steem on :)

Glad to hear you’re sticking it out Brandon, others ha e said it and I will too: you’re doing a great job of easing the minnows into Steemit. Keep up the good work.

@brandonfrye you have my full support. Glad to see you are being the bigger man. Keep doing awesome things for Steemit.

dude... whats your mood? 3000$?

gooood

I'm glad that you decided to keep chugging along. After watching your video yesterday, I was worried about how stupid it would be if you got turned off to Steemit because of some stupid circumstances. Good to hear and hopefully there won't be any more bologna from now on

holy smoly, putting in 3k is some commitment! looks like your cryptoinvests went very well :)

looking forward to seeing more content from you, and good weekend to you as well!

I follow you and I always for posting
please vote my post ....

good post friends. I like your posts friends

Great news, glad you are sticking around! You produce good content and as Jerry Banfield said down votes come with the platform. So long as they are few and far between and not targeted abuse!

Grats man! You have the reinforcement to counter the unfavourable forces in Steemit here. Looking forward to your next post on Monday. Upvoted!

Well this is awesome. I started of doing steemit with a lot of skepticism and couldn't really grasp the concept of cryptocurrency but in the few weeks I've been on this platform, I've learnt a fair bit on them two topics, new cultures and improved on my writing(though it still needs a lot of work). You make me believe.

Good decision. Stay for the party. :)

Great news man. I think everyone that follows you saw how frustrated you were with the downvote. Especially being newer to this community, it was a rough lesson I're sure.

But I think you have a long term vision for your game plan for this platform and that's just a bump in the road.

Keep crushing it sir!

Wow 3000 dollars!! Thats a huge investment!
Anyways I would really like to thank you, your content on youtube is extremely helpful indeed. I created a steemit guide playlist to help me because I am new and when I opened it, your vids occupied more than half of it. You provide great value

When a master in a field speaks learners should listen. There is something you know at @brandonfrye I don't know. Please teach me I am new here and willing to learn...

Hey @Brandonfrye thanks for all of the content you have made in regards to the platform. Im still fairly new and Im still confused on the whole steem, steem power, steem dollars and savings and such. Is there any way I can discuss this with you so I can better understand how it all works? Thanks and keep up the great work.

wow, your post has lot of comments :). So i want to ask you a question, why did bring 3000 $ to steem?

I'll follow your foot steps to grow on steemit . Thank you.

good! If an incident like that from GrumpyCat would have been enough to make you leave the platform then what chance do the rest of us have? btw another wrongly abused victim of grumpycat was among the top trending ones today, so its going around. Not much anyone can do to stop that behavior though, that I can see, sadly.

I am happy that you decided to stay in this platform but I also wondering if voting bots were viable for minnows since there is a probability of getting their post flagged by other killer whales.

Upvoted, Resteemed and Commented! I am a 6 days old Steemian and I am following your posts to gain more knowledge and motivations on creating a great post. You see, I may not be a great writer but I am trying my best to learn everything. Thank you for the informative and educational posts you did. I am looking forward to learn more and to see how I can survive this community. Thank you! :)
