I have been subscribed to @rulesforrebels for a long time on YouTube. He has over 58,000 subscribers and also has an online resell business like myself. The main focus of his YouTube channel is information about making money online and it is one of the best channels out there for real advice that is implementable. Not these mental masturbation self help marketer type guys who never actually says anything that you could put into action. We are talking real advice about eBay, Amazon, affiliate marketing, and he started talking about digital currencies a few months back.
I did a little test. I told myself that once he finally mentions Steemit in his videos then this thing is gaining massive traction.
He actually posted a video about Steemit yesterday but I didn't even see it because YouTube didn't send the notification to my phone. Suddenly today I'm on Steemit and I get a message on one of my posts where I had a pool meeting about a lot of YouTubers joining Steemit. Here is the message he sent me.
I looked at the Steemit name and thought, What the hell???? Is this the same @rulesforrebels that I'm subscribed to on YouTube?
I looked at the account and it 100% is!
Everyone who is into making money online should go follow him right now and subscribe to him on YouTube because I'm telling you he knows his stuff. I don't watch most of the YouTubers that talk about business online because they actually don't know that much. This guy is the real deal!
What I'm going to try to set up is a Skype pool meeting with him to answer questions and my thoughts about Steemit! That could be another big step because he has a large following of investor / business minded people. It is a more sophisticated action oriented following.
Conclusion
The wave is here! We just all have to get in front of it!

Good post. I had mentioned it to Rules a few times but when he did his "Strike While the Iron is Hot" Video. I was like why aren't you on Steemit? People already do all this content why not just re-post it? Some people just don't get it. I had a conversation with Reezy Resales in person about 3 months ago in Santa Cruz. Mr. Social Media who completely blew it off. So you never know. Good content my man. You got a new follower on Steemit.

Yeah it is. There are big players joining along with droves and droves of everyday people. Unfortunately I'm not exactly in position for it as well as I would like to be. We are really going to get a good picture a week after Hard Fork 19 to see what that does to the rewards. If it makes your general person feel like they have some power in the system that is going to be huge. One of the big reasons I continued my power down past where I initially was going to is because even as much blogging and everything I did my vote wasn't worth anything and I was seeing that a person would have had to bring in way to much outside money to have any sort of influence what so ever. That could all change now and right in time actually since all these people are showing up!

Hey buddy thanks so much for the post truly appreciate it and truly appreciate you being an early watcher on Youtube as well, I remember when my vids would only get like 6 or 8 views so crazy to see how it's grown and really appreciate everyone who watches and comments and is just part of the community.
So glad you mentioned it and excited to be on here. That's what I love about social media and just connecting with people and seeing how ideas get bounced around and shared. I found it interesting with what you said about the strike while the iron is hot post which I made and then your kinda like dude take your own advice and get on here and I hop on here and then go back to Youtube to share your message with everyone else. Just kinda cool how all that works.
