Time To Start Teaching Youth About Gambling

First off, gambling is bad if you cant control yourself and create your own limits. It is important to understand that youth gambling is not something like an older person going to the casino or the old fashion lottery tickets out of the machine.

Gambling is all over with technology today and that is putting youth in a more vulnerable position to them potentially developing a gambling problem at a young age.

Casinos were traditional and harder to access in earlier times but now we see so much betting and casino-type games online and easy to use at any time.

Fantasy sports are the hot one which are fun but if you are a young kid and say begin to bet with friends on those games then you are at risk of developing a further problem and it all starts there.

Sports betting like fan duel and draft kings are perfect examples of how they give prizes to line ups picked daily that score the most points in certain leagues.

In general sports betting on particular games is another problem as sports are so well-known and also popular to teenagers and younger folks.

I didn't want to write this article to talk bad about anyone gambling it is just I see many kids having early access to it and not understanding early enough the risks they face with playing with money. I am sure we would all love the elders to teach the young these risks and do so in an effective way.

Overall, kids developing gambling issues at a young age can result in depression, anxiety, addiction, and more problems later on. Lets make sure to inform them in a positive way to only protect them.
