We all want Steemit to stick around for the long haul. One of the ways I surmise this will happen is that the business sector will come to know the immense value that Steemit has when it comes to customer relations and communication. This contest was an an experiment towards that concept.

Hope the experiment was a success though I can tell with only 87 resteems it wasn't the numbers you were looking for. Maybe tweaking around a little on the rules for winning can bring a much better response. Just my opinion. Anyway congratulations to the winner, to @carlgnash for donating back his winnings and of course to you, my friend for making this fun.

On its own it did not do well. Without a LOT of help from me going out and activity engaging the community, it would have done VERY poorly. But a lot was learned from it.

Great experiment. Power to the people! This same approach can be used for big data generation on blockchain. The same way you are able to monetize a MKT campaign and share proceeds with the people who resteemed it it's possible to monetize big data and share proceeds with the users that shared their information. Many blockchain platforms working on this, will be huge.

Congratulation for all the winner and for you who has successfully done the contest. I thought it will be more number of participants, over hundreds. But 87 is not bad either, as it's just a teasing and a starting of a big thing. Look forward for you wrap up of the findings from the experiment, particularly what should be done differently that with less effort of campaigning as you did but the result is maximum. This will be interesting input for the business sectors that might come along to copy what you did.

That would have allowed people to manipulate the final slots by un-following or following at the last moment. We could not allow that to happen, so the time of the resteem which could not be manipulated was the requirement to fill the slot only.
