Actually, it's good for the musicians because they can be paid directly from fans, not so good for money hungry record companies and their creative slavery contracts, that are always unfair it seems, to the talented musicians who are exploited to make their managers rich.
It could even the playing field for the local joe at open mic night, enabling him to get paid in crypto tips instantly from anyone.

Great news! I think of all the writers, singers, musicians, etc. who never got paid, or got paid very little of what they should have been paid. So many of them worked extremely hard, under a lot of stress, all to end up broke, or nearly broke after their companies and agents took everything.
With the blockchain, these people can experience getting paid directly for their talent. There is no shelving an act because they don't bow down to industry executives.
This way, more talent can be exposed, more artists will surface, and the world will be able to enjoy the beauty of it all. Love it!

This is an awesome concept. You hear so often about artists who get screwed by record companies or their managers, its fantastic to see a method for artists to completely circumvent that awful world and put more focus into doing what they love.
