MDK, one of the most popular Russian Internet communites desire to create a new platform where users can create, share, moderate the content and also, earn some tokens for that.

(Sounds familiar, right?)
It began it's path years ago as a public group at Vkontakte social network but nowadays the main content of this community stil the same: memes, viral videos and stuff. It started selling tokens a few days ago and already collected 50,689.86$, 0.29 BTC, and 87.19 ETH. Not bad so far... .png)
So, is MDK a potential opponent to Steemit? Not exactly. Even in beta stage Steemit is user friendly platform, supports five languages, including russian. It represents the idea of internet community we've never seen before. But the main content in Stemmit is still in English language, so it is not quite popular among the most non-english speakers. On the other hand, MDK is still in the early stage of development and we will see the final product only in 2k18, so i think it's too early not fair to criticise it or looking for pros an cons. In my opinion it will be Russian analog of Steemit but not it's straight opponent , exactly like Vkontakte.com and Facebook.com. Now it's all about time, and, hopefully we'll see more social networks and content rewards platforms like Steemit and MDK.
