I really don't get it....
From the very start every one has the phrase "He who shall not be named"...... drilled into them like a religious man trying to convert an atheist. Later on in the series they give the standard half ass explanation for why "...Fear of the name increases fear of the thing itself...."
Ok, so this explanation can float as long as you don't poke it with THE LOGIC STICK, then it just sinks like the hopes an dreams of the creators of " The Cleveland show". Sure you can bring into account that the "fear of the name..." bit makes scene, an it dose, till you think about it then you find a few really big problems with it....
..."Fear of the name increases fear of the thing itself...." In no way, shape or form dose that phrase solely belong to Voldemort let alone, just his name like they intended it to be. Anything with a name will fit and only be effective if something/someone like Voldemort's character was behind it. This is a argument point one might take on this however that just makes the problem even bigger....let me get to the point:
- ..."Fear of the name increases fear of the thing itself...." In no way, shape or form dose that phrase solely belong to Voldemort
- Anything with a name will fit if their character was evil..
THEIR BY!!! MY CONCLUSION!!!!!!!!.................
THE HOLE HARRY POTTER UNIVERSE could have been afraid of THIS FACE.......with the name MIC NUM-NUM
And it wouldnt change a fuken thing.....
