Hi everyone , we are in our 2th day after the HF 19.

1 thing that certainly has my attention . Why is this hardfork 19 slowly nibbling away my post rewards ?

Before this only happend due to the changing price of Steem or SBD . And it would reflect in my wallet as well.

But now i notice , that the rewards are slowly going down , even though my wallet is still the same.

Has this anything to do with the hardfork ?? Why is this happening ?

Me and my wifey @fernwehninja are still figuring this out , why does this happen? Without my wallet changing ?

at this moment is is dropping a few cents per hour.

In a week this will be multiple dollar , why is this happening , and where does the money go to really?

Thank you kindly for your response !

Hey man, I should be able to explain this for you. The amount of voting power that you have will go down the more you vote it will then slowly replenish back up to %100. This has alway been the case with steem, but since the latest HF the rate at which your voting power decreases is now much faster. You can slow down the depletion of your voting power by selecting a lower percentage when upvoting posts and comments.

your voting power is currently at 47.48%

You can check this by going onto your blog page and then changing the word 'Steemit' in the address bar to 'Steemd'.

I hope this helped :)

i use that site to check my voting power , I just don't see how it lowers it while i am not posting or upvoting . So it seems it is better not to support other people , to keep your own earnings. That is a big contradiction to supporting eachother hehe.

I think he neans the payouts on each of his posts are reducing not his voting power :)

I also noticed that but don´t have an explination... some of my posts did go down 10 or more already :(

that is a lot .

yes :(.... but still more than before.

it is true, and I would like to know that as well

Today I was just thinking the same as I noticed less potential payout. But i thought it would be only me.

I think the recent price of STEEM has something to do with it. All my post have fell a couple cents as well .

Your rewards are based on an average price of steem over a 7 day period. When the price is climbing the potential reward climbs but when steem has a drop in price the average price for the week goes down so affecting your potential payout.
