This is a good initiative and should definitely be supported.
I feel there is a real need in steemit to recognise good content creators who do not just spam low-value posts or copy articles directly from the source without batting an eyelash.
As a fairly new minnow, I am well aware of how difficult it is to actually get views and upvotes even with non-plagiarised content.
So upvoted and resteemed. Since I do not post that regularly due to my long working hours, I will leave the rest to benefit from your competition.

It is tough starting out, but a good way to start out is to focus more on commenting. Then as you build followers your blog posts will receive more attention.
