Hello Steemians, hope your day is going great.
Day by day, hundreds of people flock into the gates of Steemit. This is definitely a good thing, but the issue is that most of them leave as soon as they come in.
I was one of those people. This happened because I was not patient enough to learn the ropes of this great platform.
Now I am totally in love with steemit. This post is to encourage newbies to persevere. Rome was not built in a day and when you digest this, you'll know that it will take one day at a time to achieve your goals.
I am still learning and thanks to @surpassinggoogle @anjiba and @fatherfaith, I am understanding the forum little by little.
TIPS
Make friends within your online community so that they guide you in your journey.
Make sure you read and comment on articles.

Steemit is about learning and friendship, open your heart to these two things and everything will follow.
