WTF Foam.Space is making it easy..

FOAM works to provide the infrastructure needed for decentralized location services that are secure without a central point of failure. Proof of location is crowdsourced verification of points of interest and location claims. In other words, it’s different ways of proving something is located where it says it’s located.

There are two types of proof of location:

Static Proof of Location is the FOAM Map’s registry of points of interest and the crowdsourced verification of places.

Dynamic Proof of location is a secure and spatially distributed location system that uses radio signals and clock synchronization to determine location, similar to GPS.
The following video explains dynamic proof of location in detail and visualizes how the FOAM Proof of Location protocol works: from the initial formation of a zone to the addition of a presence claim to the Ethereum blockchain.
