Matt Trainer Isn't Selling A Game...

He is selling a product to help you "get rich".

Matt Trainer

Don't waste $499 on this. Sneaky... $99 for steemit.... NO NO NO.

Buy a $20 book and read some great articles.

Steemians be wary of where you place your hard earned money.

Yeah it looked interesting for a second, i then spent 20 mins googling him and realised it's all a load of nonsense.

Several of us have been trying to get to the bottom all afternoon :) It is sad that they still try, but we have the wisdom of the crowd now.

Yes thanks for your efforts in avoiding people wasting money. While I always research stuff before investing, not everybody does!

I can honestly say it was a group effort -- if they did not bring it to my attention, I might have missed it :) Please know that I am happy to help.

Tai Lopez of Steemit.
Read a book a day.

Ohhhh. I love to read. I heard about this one. I will research further. thank you.

You can't stop me from sending this man all my good boy points. I earned them by being a very good boy.

True, but I want you to not send him $499 bucks to "get rich". That is all I am asking.

I think stuff like this does might have a place in the cryptosphere though, as people are very very very bad at buying and even worse at trading (although of course depending how you guide the trading, huge legal implications down the road maybe? idk). I mean, probably not the guy here, and not this high a price tag, but somebody. It doesn't matter that you CAN put tutorials etc... up on youtube or steemit or anywhere. People want 1 on 1 personalized help and hand holding.

He has been sued... and he lost. You want someone that already took someone else's money to hold more money? No. This is a bad idea.

?

What did you read "I mean, probably not the guy here, and not this high a price tag, but somebody" to mean? I don't know who, I'm not legit enough to be the guy

Or let me put it more clearly - almost nobody is good enough, and anyone who is probably isn't wasting their time on something like that. But still like I said... people absolutely, 100% want their hand held. Not you and not me, but they're out there.

I do not disagree that folks want their hand held, but this product is a dine and dash sort of thing. This particular individual has a history of take payment and not make good on the services.

Yes and that was why I was crystal clear "probably not this guy". I can't speak more certainly than that because I don't know who I would recommend!

Hey do you have a link for the claim that he has been sued and lost, I'm thinking about writing a post about this and that would be a good source to have.

Just do a google search and then find the case jurisdiction and then search the court docket. I am not going to send everyone to the court site as I am building my case to present to the US Attorney General. Thank you.

Thank you.

I'm listening to his webinar now. 20 mins in and he hasn't told us anything. All hype. Why on earth would Steemit want to be associated with this? This is seriously discouraging.

Steemit is not associated with it. This is him selling snake oil. Please send tell everyone to be aware of those that carry large promises and small bags.

But his original post must've got majorly upvoted by whales. 32 mins in and he's talking about how he had cancer and how had a lamboughini and it was flooded. Ahhh now talking about lawsuits he had because they were so good at what they do.

Can't you just buy a bunch of STEEM, power up, and that increases your influence? It just seems like I keep running into fake whales.

well said.

Not everyone does their due diligence. And just because there are whales... does not mean it is the "official steemit" line. A vote is a vote. Not a company vote. I am sure he will be flagged by morning.

All of his fans getting hyped are 20 rating accounts. Brand new just to pump him.

i felt like i was setting thru a timeshare pitch but wasn't evēn promised a coupon or a lousy meal 😉

@tommyquest -- I missed your reply. And OH that is a awful feeling...

Don't worry -- I have an antidote for this awful feeling he brought here.

Gave his post my first ever down vote. Hopefully others will follow. I don't want other scammers see him succeed on our platform.

I am glad that you see the large disconnect between a game and a service that helps you earn money on a platform that you were already earning money on.

It might help that I did acting. So I can spot bad acting. Such as when someone is choosing their words and over emphazing something. Like how he says in the video on fb. "We are giving away WAY TOO much for this price. It really doesn't match alllll we are giving away."
Makes me sick. It's like listening to a general insurance commercial. The acting is that bad.

Make sure to spread the word. I don't want anyone being used.

Me either :/.

Sat through the webinar, you should read and resteem my impression of it (if you want). I, for one, will not be participating.

I am sorry you sat through it. We took to long researching.

I am glad to hear that you are participating.

Aren't *

Lol. Sorry Phone typing in bed. This was too good to stop watching

This is a classic. He's saying how he learnt hebrew and greek so he could read the bible. Read it back to front a few times. He's off with the faeries.

No need to insult the Fae! D:

Sorry! He started getting very angry on the webinar when talking about people on Steemit calling him out as a scammer. Started threatening to get their usernames and ban them from his game.

Oh no! Not getting usernames (which are public and he technically already has if he knows they're calling him out on his scam) and refusing to scam them because he doesn't like them!

Clearly he only scams people he likes.

Yeah, he told me his "team" would make sure I couldn't play after I pointed out how thin the credibility of his team is and I laughed. Who does that? Five year olds, that's who. "I don't want to play with you." "Oh yeah?! Well you're not allowed to play with me, so there!"

I've dealt with many of those in my life. I'd like to see those types trip down a flight of stairs or twenty.

Sounds like not letting you "play" means sending a flagging brigade against you and anyone else calling him out on his bullshit. Fun.

I'm sure the Steemit community at large is smarter than that. I like to think we have each other's backs.

LMAO! It looks like @matttrainer also thinks the Steemit community at large is smarter than that: "Bye steemit. You're not ready for this."

LOL... what he does not realize -- all his petty words are stored on the blockchain. He should be ready for the next round of investigations.

Just uninstall the .exe file when you get off. and run a virus scan.

They say it is from gotomeeting, but after all the virus stuffs going around -- I do not trust a misleading salesperson.

How did he get Stan and other's to vouch for him?

I do not know... and it is a bit scary. I hope they denounce him soon. I am all for product selling, but he sold this as a GAME. He will be reported to the US attorney general.

If I recall correctly, when I was reading about Steemit before signing up (the information was actually here on Steemit) I saw Steemit being referred to as a game a couple of times.

Perhaps he's simply using the same language? (I don't know, I'm having trouble looking into this because old and dying phone.)

Yes, but steemit does not charge you $499 or $99 and not deliver a product. This gentleman and his companies have been sued for this issue before.

Right. I know Steemit doesn't.

I'm just wondering if he chose 'game' because the word is used by Steemit. Sort of like he's trying to make it sound more like Steemit in an attempt to appear more credible.

That is likely. But instead he made a community upset for attempting to sell some snake oil.

I definitely get that. I was just pointing out that he seemed to imitating the language used by Steemit. Classic con trick.

Agreed. Sorry this subject has me a bit "edgy" as they have sent their other account over :) I do not like false advertising or trying to squeeze money out of good folks.

Great question. Stan is Dan's dad.

This is one game I am pleased to lose.
