Overall the small update to the Steemit layout is attractive, especially the username and avatar over the top of the post. Again, it would be nice is there was an official announcement about this where people can provide feedback. If there was, I missed it.
One minor issue I have is that it's hard to find the link for "all other tags", I forget what it was called exactly but it was at the bottom of the previous list of tags and you could peek at all the trending tags. With the new format when I click on "All tags" it shows about 30 tags. This gives the impression it is the definite list. The list for all trending tags is found in "Welcome" and is https://steemit.com/tags. I think this should still be at the bottom of the "All tags" list.
The other comment is that in the right column there is the heading "My Links". That is fine but it has two links "My blog and "My wallet". What is the point of having this here with two links, which can easily be found under our avatar/personal info? It seems like a waste of space, might as well just have all the tags listed there like before unless you're going to highlight new information. Or maybe some FAQ highlights should be there to help orient new people about how things roll here.

Not sure if you have seen - but there is a new front-end promoting open source collaboration - and {maybe with a bit of adjustment} this type of post might fit well there!
