STEEMIT CAN REALLY BE ADDICTIVE

Are you so obsessed about steemit that you hardly find time for anything? Is steemit all you think about and focus on?
Starting on steemit as a blogger is not an easy journey and not everyone would find it so interesting to be here. A lot of things really go on here that takes more time, more research and more reading to discover.

There will be time when you will find yourself doing more on steemit than anything else especially when you start as a newbie. During my first month on steemit I hardly find time for any other activities that I used to get engaged in before. It's normal to experience that and I guess it has happened to many users here on steemit.

I turn on my mobile data and I will visit Steemit to see what's going on, I take my phone and it feels like I should write something, I sleep and I still reflect on all post and all votes I will be getting, I was so captivated to be online just to see how I'm earning each day, it was like steemit was now taking a toll on me.

Is the saying that more money more problems gradually coming true in my life or what, because I couldn't find just a single time for anything else and my focus was always drawn to browsing on steemit.

Has it happen to you too? ...

YOUR OBSESSION HAS TO BE MANAGED

I had to do something now because it was like affecting me greatly. I couldn't find time attending to my spiritual life like praying, reading my bible and besides my social life too. Have you ignored your spiritual life?. Spiritual exercise or practice can contribute positively to your life but often times it can be ignored.
Time they say is money and I understood this popular saying very well when I came on steemit because every minute you spend on commenting, posting, upvoting will at least fetch you something and this is what makes steemit unique due to how it rewards users.

Until you see the need to manage your obsession with steemit other important things in your life can badly be affected.

I realised that it is not wrong to be obsessed about something but it is wrong when you fail to manage that obsession.

THERE IS A NEED FOR A BALANCED LIFE

You can be on the site all the day long but what about other things that need your attention as well. Those who even work for many hours still have some time to spare.
Having time for other things like attending church or the mosque, spending some time with family and friends is also important .

I'm glad now I have been able to have a balanced life

There is a need to have a schedule for all activities

Your day can only be effective if you schedule your time well. One way to ensure a balanced life is to schedule your time. To have a balance in all areas of your life there is a need to have time for every activity.You need to apportion time for anything you do and desist from spending all the tine on one activity. So now I know when to be online, when to do my meditations, have time for family ans friends.

There is also a need to set priorities

With a schedule you will be able set every activity in order of importance and to know which activity to attend to first and then second. Other activities that fascinates you most cannot be ignored whiles you focus of those you think are important if you have a schedule.
