This was a fantastic summary for a n00b steemer like myself. I've got some idea of the machinations of the platform and the currencies behind it, fascinating really!

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
