I met some Steemians at the Bitcoin meetup in my town. The guy in the middle (@freiergeist) even got his account on the 16th! So he almost could have been Mister 1 Million! Very funny coincidence.

Time to celebration! I have ordered beer and lots of food stuff for a little party with my friends. 1 million is not a big number. This is just a beginning. This number will definitely cross 10 million by the end of the year.

It is not an easy thing to achieve the target of 10 million users but it is not impossible at all. If sign up procedure could be fast enough, this feat could have been achieved a lot earlier.
