STEEMIT PASSWORD RECOVERY - .....HOW TO ..... RECOVER IT YOURSELF / EASY METHOD

I'm putting up this post again. I wrote it awhile back after loosing my password. This method helped me retrieve my password without any outside help. Good Luck.

I recently misplaced my steemit password. I have been reading that its a fatal error if you loose your password. The World would come crashing down upon you and you may have difficulties getting back into your old account.
So, here is what I did. Follow these simple instructions and you will be able to recover your password. These instructions are underneath this picture. Good Luck.

1. You must have your password saved in your hard drive if you are automatically logged into steemit. So, If you can log into your steemit by just going to steemit and you automatically are logged in you are good to go. If your computer doesn't automatically log you in when you click on steemit, then I can't help you. So, if you answered yes to the first part of the question then hang in there. Here we go...

2. First, you must click on in the right top portion of your internet browser that has 3 dots (customize and control) Click on on this button and you come to a list. Find "Settings" and click on that. (Example is in the picture below.
   

3. After clicking "Settings" another list will come up. Go to the end of the List and push on "Show Advanced Settings". Click on this button. Example in picture below
   

4. After clicking on "show advanced settings" another list will come up. Find the section in this list that says "Passwords and Forms". Click on the button "Manage Passwords" in this section. Example in the picture below
   

5. After clicking on "Manage Passwords" a list will come up of all your saved passwords on your computer. The passwords should look like this "...............". Scroll down to your Steemit saved password and click the word that says "STEEMIT". When you click on it a blue box will be over your password that says "SHOW" Click on Show. You will then get a screen that says you must log into your windows to continue. So log into the box to continue. After that click on "show". You will be able to see a part of your password in the window. Right click the password and copy it with your mouse. Now you can paste the password in a word document and you will be able to see the whole password. I hope this helps you. Below is the window of the page where the above details takes place.
