SHUT SHOW--WHY THE US GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN IS GREAT

--Whether or not you can remember, there was an old Saturday Night Live, about fifteen years ago (back in the Will Ferrell days) there was a sketch they did that I think was a germination of the idea of Anchor Man, years down the road. It involves a morning talk show with two peppy co-hosts played by Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri. The teleprompter goes down, and mayhem, anarchy, cannibalism, and just about every other taboo known to man happens because of course they were lampooning the archetype of the "haircut without a brain" news network anchor that has to rely on a teleprompter because the anchors have no common sense, "...I just have to look good I don't have to be clear..." as Don Henley once referenced in his Dirty Laundry song decades ago.
--In case you haven't noticed, and without watching a news broadcast you almost certainly have not, the government is shut down. In such a stunning turn of events lawmakers are actually staying in Washington D.C. for the weekend! Chuck Schumer is doing his best John Boehner impersonation, Mitch McConnell is doing his best Jimmy Stewart impersonation, and Trump is giving his best Donald going forward. With Schumer emoting at the start of his sentence and then working to a groan, playing very well to the hourly radio updated news. McConnell is talking about Schumer like "that isn't going to stand Mister." Trump through the whole thing is cool as a cucumber. Re-reading "The Art of the Deal" while he is writing the sequel as we speak.
--My favorite and most important take away is not winners or losers here. That actually does not matter this time. What really needs to happen is for this "constitutional crisis," (yeah, somebody actually called it that) to go on as long as possible. As long is it takes for everyone to lose it like the SNL cast did so well in the skit talked about above. While segments of the media, and public government cabal also show you they're nuts over the whole deal. Then the truth serum will start to come out. That is the waiting game here, the Democrats want their fund raising, campaign soundbites to be uttered by a Republican baffoon, and vice versa. The American citizen is tossed overboard while the ruling elitist mob is fighting for the last remaining crumbs aboard the ship while it burns.
--People starring in this "Shut Show"are really going to show their true colors. You will have to listen very closely and this is the one benefit that will arise from this charade. The power grab of the most greedy, largest trust, above the law institution is about to be demonstrated as being the United States Federal Government. These actors are going to no end to ensure their political clout is not diminished, on both sides as the DACA reform has been proposed. Citizenship for children of temporarily moved refugees as far back as 2001 (running off of deferred action passed TWELVE times that renew every year and a half). If a group of people can't pass laws that are expected to be followed then the citizens have no government. If you can't determine who is a citizen, you do not have a country.
--The Democrats had to call a timeout "modern politics style" by shutting down the government. This is no different than when in basketball a head coach calls a timeout while a team is getting routed by their opponent, the crowd is roaring, while everyone is huddled trying to wet themselves. The economic confidence of the US is roaring, major crimes are being alleged during the entire campaign, especially towards the DNC and their possible collusion with intelligence agencies. It gives me chills today when HRC gave her comment about the "all 17 agencies found wrongdoing with Trump and his campaign." There will be a lot of truth during this shutdown. If you think the ugliness has picked up this is nothing. This is the way it will be until Trump leaves the White House whenever that is.
--There is no "Moonshot" project that will unify this country as it currently runs politically. If that were to happen today the party out of power would abort long before the rocket got anywhere near launching. Trump could not succeed as it opponents see it, Obama could not succeed as his opponents saw it, G "W" Bush could not succeed, Bill Clinton and so on. Is it any wonder to this public why these perceived national party bases have come to existence? Whatever media you get your information would be a good start.
--The more locally concentrated politics are the more uniting they wind up being among those who participate. The more nationally driven a political front group the more divisive and polarizing they become. Virtuous free will sentiment within the hearts of the people is much more easy to monitor with one ear to the ground than a satellite in space.
--This dynamic will not be fixed by a magic theory that comes from someone at the final hour, in fact the country, the budget being debated will suffer due to this "Shut Show" being displayed by all screaming and carrying on the loudest. When you hear these people ranting and raving ask yourself "how far would I go to fight for that thought by politician A, protestor B, media member C, celebrity D, 48 hour human interest story E," and so on. Would you fight an enemy overseas because of this action? Would you go or send your family member to defend the ideals of one of the five people you will see all over creation this coming week? My answer. Hell no. If you want more of this keep supporting the Shut Show party apparatus that will continue until you the electorate come up with something better.
--The forecast for Steem/Steemit is great as long as this chaos continues. In my opinion the crypto play is a quasi-short selling of the more traditional markets, which will take a beating the longer this goes on. Funny how the cryptos are the volatile investment and entrusting your current lifestyle and future lifestyle to the great collection of our better nature in Washington DC is the sensible play.
