Today I would like to introduce someone who is a shining example of the kind of people who are moving their personas to the Steemit social platform. She's what is lovingly termed a minnow here.
Seems to be an ongoing search for exactly what describes a minnow. All skills and talent aside I tend to agree with @aggroed. He is one of the members that started the minnow support project (MSP). So who better to give the definition. A minnow as someone (account) that has less than 5k Steem Power (SP) then there are dolphins (5k SP - 50k SP)...and finally Mobydom at (50k SP and higher)
I have no doubt @karencarrens will continue to grow quickly to dolphinhood and perhaps, eventually, onto becoming a full blown whale of epic proportions. She's a true giver and a fine template as to what makes a great Steemian.
Here Is an older post that shows just how much a giver she is. Something of a reminder as to what we all can do when faced with not-a-lot-to-do time. If you haven't already, think seriously about being a local hero, in your part of the wold, by becoming a Red Cross blood donor
I've spent a bit of time surfing further into @karencarrens personal SteemianWave/Blog and found a couple of her posts that I would like to share. Beyond the one I chose to feature here. This next one is her introduction to the true meaning of Peacock have a look at the video too...it's very short but pretty funny.
She, like so many of us are caught in the middle of a situation that has yet been defined as a good or bad thing. Resteeming! A very important term inside the Steemitverse and outside, as she so wonderfully demonstrates with a story of two young boys who reached greater heights together than they may have seperately. Have a look you will be amazed!
Finally This is the post of her reaching out into the community searching for a happy solution to the touchy subject of both gaining and losing followers according to how much...and what you choose to resteem <<<that's the link this is all about and why I #resteem-that
Thanks for looking, let me know what you think of this post.
Suggestions to make it better are welcome.
This is my follow button logyx
I'm pretty low tech...and off to surf the feeds. };-)>
~smiles fer miles~
EDIT: After careful consideration to my readers I have decided to place the whale watching speedboat in the predominant position to allow easier recognition to my Why Did I Resteem That series. Also I'm going to put a link to my initial comment on discovering the featured post. I often get lost in the crowd. ~smiles~
Not sure what to call that link but I think My Initial Comment to OP should do fine...for now. I've been told, more than a few times, that I give good comment. Sometimes great...and usually not for the TLDR crowd...just in case yer interested. };-)>
That is seriously so sweet @cryptologyx! 🤣 I think it's so cool that our friendship started because you resteemed someone's post!
I adore you and this community to pieces! You're tons of fun to "work" with and as real to me as a friend in town. Thanks for the encouragement you so freely give to me and our community!
I love that we get to do what we love, secure a dynamic financial future for our families and collect friends along the way. This is going to be a blast! 💥
Resteeming!

It is cool isn't it? And I do see many I interact with here as friends. I think you're genuinely a real people person. As such you know that giving is better than receiving. If there's anything I can help you with you just let me know.
Hahaha there was something I was meaning to ask you the next time we talked like this but now I'm so flustered by such a wonderful comment it's gone completely outta my head. So yeah...it's already a blast. ~smiles~

I was looking at the link then all of a sudden I was surfing four tabs away about how Steemit is like a lottery and the perfect post has about 250 words and a couple/few pictures. I have a sneaky suspicion that the TLDR (too long didn't read) community is much larger than I have been thinking.
I did read the post but I find bot's unfathomable at this time. This one seems to be a curation and follow generating bot for that account. The pricing was confusing as well...but things seem to be moving along there because I went to the resteem bot's blog.
I think it's an option for many, minnow or not. Still too early for me to make a call. Have you used it yet? If so, what did you think of your results?
I didn't leave a comment...yet. Around here I think it's important for me to give things a month to get a feel for it. Except the people of course...that's all rolling instant karma for this feed surfer. :)

Hi @cryptologyx, I've been in marketing for years so I love finding marketing tools that promote posts with a good ROI... And that's what lots of bots do. 😁 Of course there are good bots and questionable bots. I stick with the good ones. This resteembot simply resteems your post to it's followers. It doesn't manufacture followers because they still have to choose to follow you. In Steem, bots are a big part of it. I love using them. 💥

Hmmm...well I guess if everybody else is do'n it...then I s'pose I should get with the program eh? ~smiles~
I make to many mistakes that don't cost me steem when posting...atm I really can't afford to make mistakes using bots. I guess I'll continue growing organically.
Enjoy your day @karencarrens

Oh...I certainly didn't mean you had to use bots just cause others were. If I gave you that impression... Sorry!

hahaha...no...I was being facetious...all is well ~smiles~
And yes I do need to look more into this bot driven economy but I'll need a sky hook to do so because I'm not afraid to admit that this is, (as so many aspects of Steemit are) wayyy over my head. };-)>
