Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    It's not a bad way to spend an hour a day IMO. I use to be more involved and am becoming more active again. Seems to pay off when you invest in content you create.

    I wouldn't recommend promoting junk posts though, I see a lot of people do that.
