I actually agree with part of what you're saying. The spam, in theory, should not remain prevalent if they don't get upvotes, causing them to not be profitable. I agree with the password aspect 100%. I'm not sure about Number #3, I could see points on both sides. Overall, I enjoy Steemit and it's potential. Can't wait to see where this goes.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    Thanks for the great thoughtful reply! Also I as well enjoy Steemit don't get the wrong idea by my post, I just personally think it still has a lot of room for improvement. Anyway have a great day or night! :D
