How Networking on Discord Got Me A $30 Dollar Upvote and How You Can Too!

So how did I get a post a 30.00 upvote? How did networking help me get there? If you are a small user on steemit and find yourself struggling getting your posts noticed. I have had people ask me how one of my posts got to more than $30.00.Here is how I did it.

Stay Active on Discord

I stay active in my discord servers, where I try to help any newbies to steemit. Give them any advice I can, or even direct them to someone that can answer specific questions. For example, if someone is asking questions about certain upvote bots I direct them to someone in chat , that can answer them. Just enjoying making friends and connecting with the people on steemit community.

Attend Live Events/Radio Shows

So many discord channels will have a events or contests , intended for new steemians and people struggling on Steemit. These communities really try to help new people. I feel like steemit is paying me to find great friends. The rewards are just a nice bonus. Below I will explain how each discord server has benefited me.

This Discord Server is really cool and ran by it’s founder, @officialfuzzy. They have contests, tutorials, and have a show for anyone who wants to promote their post! @freedomexists hosts a ‘Promote Your Post’ show on Sundays and Thursdays at 7pm eastern. For more information on this show here is the link. Also @krazykrista and @steempowerpics host a show to answer any questions about steemit or whaleshares, a way to get free upvotes. This discord server has a show where you share your post in the chat room and talk in voice chat to tell people about your post, occuring on Thursdays at 11 am eastern and 7pm eastern. On the PAL server, @ma1neevent and @PoeticSnake have a show where their guests talk about what they post,and it's a good way to get your name out there. Also PAL has many other types of radio shows and they do a variety of topics. There are Heavy Metal shows, politics shows, and shows where you can listen to music and discuss it. A really great community there! Also, they are always there to help you if you have any questions. They have really helped me to become a better writer. Steemit Bloggers

This discord server is run by @jaynie and supported by @zord189 , @thekittygirl , @raymondspeaks, @amarbir, @chrismccron, @derekrichardson, and many others I wish I could remember. It is really cool, you are pretty much only required to vote 1 person a day in the different subject rooms. So everytime I post a post there I get at least 1 upvote, and I have made some great friends there. At this time you can only get in this group by invite, but if you get this invite you will not regret it. So with all these discord servers I'm pretty sure you will find a community for you. Networking on discord is really what has helped me to make some money on my posts. Pretty much by just staying active in these servers, I feel I have made some really great friendships in each. Remember, don't spam these rooms just get to know people and in time, once you are having fun and making friends, the rewards become just a bonus.
